At Roissy, the Van der Valk Paris CDG Airport Hotel is reinventing itself. Rooms with refined design, reimagined social spaces, renewed culinary experiences... An ambitious modernization that combines comfort, elegance and Dutch hospitality. In the unique spirit of the Maison Van der Valk, each transformation carries the promise of a stay that is both warm and upscale. Discover in this article the behind-the-scenes of this metamorphosis...

Since the beginning of the year, the Van der Valk Paris CDG Airport Hotel has been undergoing a major transformation. Behind these renovations is a clear ambition: to offer both leisure and business travelers a setting that lives up to the highest international standards, while preserving the sincere, family-style welcome that embodies the Maison Van der Valk.

Rooms designed as true cocoons.

First to witness this transformation, 100 rooms and two Executive Suites have already been completely redesigned by Tessa Luiten, the group's interior designer.
Baptized Deluxe Rooms, they combine contemporary design and ultimate comfort: premium bedding, a spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower, a Nespresso coffee machine, a smart TV, a garment steamer to look impeccable before a meeting... Nothing has been left to chance. Every detail helps create a restful and elegant atmosphere, ideal for unwinding between flights or preparing for a seminar.

Warm and inspiring living spaces

Beyond the rooms, the common areas have also been modernized to reflect a spirit lifestyle resolutely focused on conviviality.

  • TheAtrium, spectacular at 22 meters high, is the beating heart of the hotel; it now sports an elegant and luminous décor.

  • The restaurant and the bar open onto a warm atmosphere, thanks to terracotta- and green-toned furnishings, enhanced by touches of greenery.

  • The the lobby and the reception invite you to relax with new cozy corners, perfect for working in peace or continuing a conversation.

Modernized professional spaces

To meet the expectations of event organizers and companies, the seminar rooms have also received special attention: new tables, practical and elegant furnishings, and above all brand-new audiovisual equipment, ensuring meetings and conferences take place under optimal conditions.

New experiences to share

Because hospitality is also about the pleasures of dining, a brand-new space will soon be unveiled: a 500-square-meter buffet restaurant with a terrace, conceived as a true gourmet stopover. The inner garden and the large adjoining terrace, completely redesigned, will offer an unexpected green oasis just steps from the airport and the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre.

A long-term project.

The transformation doesn't stop there. Right now, 80 new Deluxe Rooms are being renovated, accompanied by two additional Executive Suites and a prestigious Presidential Suite.

By 2026, the renovations will cover all 390 rooms, with the north building completed as early as January. A total investment of more than 21 million euros, which confirms the group's determination to make this hotel a benchmark in Roissy, both for travelers in transit and for companies seeking a unique venue for their seminars.

A strong commitment to environmental responsibility

This large-scale project is accompanied by a commitment to responsible practices. Mattresses, televisions and furniture are given a second life through recycling, refurbishment and donations. The hotel is also preparing for the future with projects such as the installation of solar panels and the renovation of the pool, combining high-end comfort with respect for the environment.

More than a construction site, it's a veritable renaissance: that of a hotel that combines modernity and hospitality, to transform each stay into a memorable experience, in the great tradition of the House of Van der Valk.
